Bloomz Grow: Observations Everyone Sees, Coaching Only Two People Do

Bloomz Grow adds rubric-based classroom observations and confidential coaching cycles on one platform, with coaching notes mechanically sealed off from admin and evaluator visibility.

Bloomz Grow: Observations Everyone Sees, Coaching Only Two People Do

SchoolStatus Boost is described in our own competitive research as the single deepest non-communications gap in the market, an entire separate product line most K-12 comms platforms simply don’t touch. Bloomz Grow closes it, and does it with a design choice we think matters more than any feature list: a hard wall between what’s evaluative and what’s confidential.

The half everyone can see

A four-domain rubric framework seeds automatically per district, or a district imports its own via CSV. Evaluators run walkthroughs and formal observations with per-indicator ratings, time-stamped notes, and an evidence portfolio, exactly as visible to a school or district admin as an observation record has always been.

The half almost nobody can

Coaching cycles hold focus areas, sessions, next steps, and PD-resource links, and they’re mechanically sealed off from admin and evaluator visibility, not a permissions setting a future policy change could quietly loosen, but something enforced and tested at the code level. A coach and a teacher can talk about wait-time after questions or a tricky parent conversation without wondering who else might read it later.

What the district gets, without seeing the details

A PD-suggestion engine surfaces low-rated indicators across observations and matches them to your PD library. District reporting shows a heatmap by school and domain and a goal-completion rate, aggregate counts and averages, never the content of a single observation or coaching cycle.

Available now, behind a flag

Bloomz Grow is an add-on priced separately, like Payments, off by default until your district turns it on. Read more on the Bloomz Grow page, or talk to your success manager about bringing it to your instructional coaches this year.
