TalkingPoints built its brand on Family Check-Ins and an Attendance Message Series. SchoolStatus Literacy sends reading-level family updates. Bloomz ships all three, seeded and ready to run, on a single Message Series engine.
Three programs, out of the box
Six seasonal Family Check-In touch points, an 8-week Attendance Message Series modeled on the Attendance Works chronic-absence framework, and 12 weeks of PreK-3 Home Learning activities across literacy and math, all pre-built rather than something your team assembles from scratch.
It knows when to ease off
A step in the Attendance Message Series can branch on a student’s real Thrive attendance tier. That means the series isn’t sending the same nudge on a fixed schedule regardless of what’s actually happening, it eases off automatically once a student’s attendance improves, rather than nagging a family that’s already turned things around.
Literacy updates, from data Bloomz already has
A literacy family update pulls reading level and peer-context data straight from Bloomz’s own assessment records, no separate vendor integration required. Today, enrolling a family in a literacy update happens through a staff member or an API call; it doesn’t yet trigger automatically the moment a new reading assessment lands, that connection is still ahead of us, and we’d rather say so than imply a wire that isn’t live yet.
Built for a real rollout
Every message ships in English plus machine-drafted Spanish and Arabic, ready for a district reviewer to certify, and per-step analytics show sent, skipped, read, and reply rates for every series.
Available now, behind a flag
Message Series is part of Bloomz Premium, off by default until your district turns it on. See it alongside the rest of family engagement on the Family Engagement page.
