Athletics & Clubs: from final whistle to public scoreboard in one tap
On Bloomz Athletics & Clubs, a team is a Bloomz group — so rosters, team messaging, media, and forms already work, translated, with the same privacy rules as everything else. Games and practices are calendar events families can subscribe to once and never re-import. And when the coach enters the final score from the sideline, it’s live on your public website and no-login app immediately, filterable by sport.
No second athletics platform, no webmaster updating scores on Sunday night. The chess invitational works exactly the same way.
Extended Day: the handoff nobody has to remember
Extended Day runs your before- and after-school programs with rosters, capacity, a live check-in/out board, and tuition on a recurring Bloomz Pay plan.
The signature move: when dismissal releases a student to After School, Bloomz checks them into their program automatically — same event, no double entry. Pickup at 5:30 verifies against the family’s authorized adults, exactly like the car line does. The 3-to-6 p.m. window, where every other platform loses the student entirely, just closed.
Campus Life: the small stuff, finally on the platform
Some school chores were never big enough to buy software for, so they lived on paper forever. A family of light, focused modules fixes that:
- Meals & Menus — publish menus (structured items or your existing monthly PDF) to the app, your website, and the public app in one motion. The move nobody else can make: a guardian’s view flags items containing their own child’s on-file allergens, computed privately on the server. A menu service publishes menus; Bloomz knows it’s Maya’s mom reading.
- Library — visits and checkouts in a simple log with overdue flags. Deliberately light: no catalog project, no fines.
- Substitutes — a sub gets class access for exactly the coverage window, lesson plan attached, and the access expires by itself. Nothing to remember to revoke.
- Tutoring Sessions — logged in seconds, and when a session matches an open Thrive intervention it attaches to the case as progress evidence.
- Volunteer Hours — automatic from visitor sign-outs, plus coordinator entries, exportable for recognition night.
- Bus Status — staff tap Departed and Arrived per route, and every family on the route gets the push in their language, resolved from the same dismissal plans the car line uses. Staff-reported in v1 — no GPS, and no student location collected, ever.
One record, morning to evening
