Our award-winning app has rapidly gained penetration in classrooms and schools around the world, with great praise and feedback from both parents and educators.

Bloomz is looking for a Digital Marketing professional to assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our online marketing efforts. The promotion of our app and service through digital channels is a key component of our marketing mix and will help propel the company to our next phase. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology. You will be well-versed in the newest concepts surrounding digital marketing and how they can become a strong asset to a rapidly growing startup like ours.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Helps develop the digital marketing strategy by fully identifying and understanding our customers and their current and future needs, as well as monitoring the competition.
  • Plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Designs, builds, and maintains our social media presence.
  • Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.
  • Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Creates effective outbound email marketing campaigns that turn prospects and leads into customers.
  • Creates landing pages and optimizes customer's conversion path.
  • Maintains and develops our website, ensuring visitor's education on our product and leading them to conversion.
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests.
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Self-motivated, comfortable working in a fully remote team, with a strong customer focus.
  • Skilled writer who can translate features and functionality into engaging storytelling for different formats, from blog to email and advertising.
  • Proficient in digital marketing techniques and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of Hubspot marketing suite is highly preferred. Other similar tools like salesforce, hootsuite, zoho or similar is acceptable.
  • Knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools, particularly in social media channels like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
  • Ability to create digital assets through Canva (preferred) or Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Scrappy and resourceful, able to work and deliver results while adapting to an ever-changing environment.

Education, Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

This is a great opportunity for a talented, energetic, driven individual to gain experience at a high-growth, fast-paced ed-tech startup. The ideal candidate has a history of achieving sales targets & quotas and exceeding expectations on deliverables. S/he is a strong strategic thinker and analytical problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments. S/he is a strong oral and written communicator, a careful listener, and project manager who is able to balance multiple and often conflicting priorities. The ability to manage a valuable prospect list and nurture a well-established sales pipeline is extremely vital.

This is a full-time position.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Research, identify and qualify all sales leads based on a specific qualification
  • New account acquisition through multiple prospecting activities including cold calls, referrals, and qualified leads provided by our marketing automation
  • Sell using a consultative approach to build a trusted-partner relationship with clients
  • Develop sales campaigns and deliver engaging virtual presentations to prospective clients
  • Exhibit effective closing skills to bring proposals and solutions forward into contract negotiations and account purchase
  • Nurture relationships post-sale on an ongoing basis to ensure high client satisfaction
  • Maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls and emails with a focus on generating business from new and existing business prospects
  • Accurately track all customer interactions and deal-related activities on internal CRM
  • Meet or exceed ambitious individual and team revenue targets
  • Communicate customer feedback to leadership to assist in vision and strategic planning

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Communication, or Education major preferred but not required
  • CRM experience is preferred (knowledge of Hubspot a plus but not required)
  • Minimum 3+ years sales experience with a demonstrated track record of quota/goal attainment. Education sales experience is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of all aspects related to the sales process
  • Technologically-savvy, ability to learn and break down complex features of the software to a prospect who may not be well versed in technology
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or GSuite
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Burning desire to win
