Sales Account Executive

This is a full-time position.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Research, identify and qualify all sales leads based on a specific qualification
  • New account acquisition through multiple prospecting activities including cold calls, referrals, and qualified leads 
  • Sell using a consultative approach to build a trusted-partner relationship with clients
  • Develop sales campaigns and deliver engaging virtual presentations to prospective clients
  • Exhibit effective closing skills to bring proposals and solutions forward into contract negotiations and account purchase
  • Nurture relationships post-sale on an ongoing basis to ensure high client satisfaction
  • Maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls and emails with a focus on generating business from new and existing business prospects
  • Accurately track all customer interactions and deal-related activities on internal CRM
  • Meet or exceed ambitious individual and team revenue targets
  • Communicate customer feedback to leadership to assist in vision and strategic planning

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Communication, or Education major preferred)
  • CRM experience is preferred (knowledge of HubSpot a plus)
  • Minimum 3+ years sales experience with a demonstrated track record of quota/goal attainment. Education sales experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of all aspects related to the sales process
  • Ability to learn and break down complex features of the software to a prospect who may not be well versed in technology
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or GSuite
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Burning desire to win
