    Through this partnership, Bloomz will distribute critical information to educate parents everywhere on important issues concerning their children’s health, behavior and education

    (Redmond, WA) February 15, 2017 – The award-winning parenting mobile app Bloomz announced today a set of features tailored to childcare centers, including check-in/check-out attendance and daily sheets to keep parents on top of their kids’ every-day activities. To further its mission to connect parents with their kids world, Bloomz is also partnering with the Ohio Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics to educate parents across the country on a variety of topics relevant to raising children.

    The partnership will consist of three initiatives:

    • a pilot program that will work with a select group of early childcare providers in the state of Ohio and collect data on knowledge, confidence and families’ change in behavior;
    • the creation of a content channel where all Bloomz users can find AAP’s information and other relevant content; and
    • the availability of this content to all childcare providers and schools across the United States.

    Through this partnership, Bloomz will share critical information about a wide range of topics including how to reduce sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), constructive disciplining, screen-time management, and reading to children. The service is free, and will distinguish participating schools and childcare centers from others by providing a higher level of service to their parents and children.

    The Ohio AAP is recognized nationally as a leader in innovative, targeted programs bringing important information to the parents of children of all ages. “We look forward to using this innovative approach to reaching parents and helping them navigate the challenging world of parenting with important information they can use,” said Judy Romano, MD, FAAP, past president and project medical director at Ohio AAP. “Our ongoing success working with the Cardinal Health Foundation, training pediatricians nationwide on the importance of families connecting, nurturing and making the most of every moment with their children, has led us to work with early childhood educators too. The unique features and functions of the Bloomz platform will not only help us deliver content to parents, but also help childcare centers and schools engage better with them—and we all know that the best way to help kids reach their full potential is to have parents involved as early as possible.”

    Bloomz is an award-winning mobile app that is experiencing rapid growth thanks to its feature-rich platform that helps teachers communicate and coordinate with parents. “We are really excited to be the exclusive partner of the Ohio AAP in this important endeavor,” said Chaks Appalabattula, the CEO of Bloomz. “The Ohio AAP is unique in its trustworthiness and professionalism.  The seamless integration of the AAP content into the Bloomz experience provides parents with this important information at their fingertips whenever and wherever they need it.”

    Bloomz’ service is now available to all childcare centers and schools in all the United States and the AAP content will start appearing in the app as early as March. Interested organizations should sign up for a free Bloomz account and participate in this service by going to and signing up for a free account. Once registered, they will also receive an emblem in recognition of their ability to provide this unique service to parents.
