Add referees to the club's pool with a grade, the divisions they may work, weekly availability and blackout dates. Each game has slots by position. The defaults are one centre referee for soccer U10 and younger, and a centre plus two assistants from U12. Set your own by division, or override a single game.
Assign someone yourself and you get a warning if they are outside their division, unavailable or overlapping, which you can override. Auto-assign proposes a plan for a date range and will not break those rules: it respects availability and blackouts, leaves a travel buffer between different venues, and gives the next game to whoever has the fewest. Every placement says why, and every empty slot says what ruled out the candidates. You approve it, and only then are referees told.
Referees accept or decline from the app. A decline frees the slot and alerts the assignor, and that referee is not offered the same game again. If a game is rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, including by a rainout reflow, the assigned referees are marked to reconfirm and notified.
Set pay rates by division and position. Bloomz counts a game as worked when the referee accepted it, it was played and it has started, and builds a statement for each referee. Mark a batch as paid with your reference and export the statements as a CSV for your treasurer. Bloomz does not charge or pay anyone. Paid is a record that you paid the referee outside Bloomz.
The club's athletics director, using the same permission as the League Scheduler. No new role is needed.
Yes. A referee sees their own statement.
No. Bloomz keeps the ledger. You pay referees however you do today and record it.
Not when assigning. Credential tracking for coaches and referees is in Coach Compliance.
