Every activity carries an age band (infant, toddler, preschool or school-age), a learning domain, a theme, the minutes it takes and the materials. Directors rename, hide, reorder or add learning domains for the center, and add the 24 starter activities in one step. Teachers write their own activities, and a director can edit or retire any of them.
Each room has one plan per week. Drag activities from the library into the days, move them between days, and copy last week when the week looks the same. Print the plan as a PDF in English, Spanish or Arabic. A room also keeps a daily schedule template, with blocks like circle time, outdoor play, lunch and nap, that families see beside the plan.
Activities tagged by age band and learning domain.
A family opens the room's week and reads what the class will do, with a try-at-home tip for each activity. The tips are translated for each family. The starter activities arrive with Spanish and Arabic already written, and other languages are translated once and saved. If translation is ever unavailable, the family reads the original text rather than an error. Families never see teacher notes or the materials list.
No. Bloomz gives you the library, the weekly plan and the schedule, with 24 starter activities. It does not ship a packaged curriculum or preloaded state learning standards. If your program uses a published curriculum, keep it and plan the week in Bloomz.
Yes. Families of a room see "This week in" that room, the daily schedule and a try-at-home tip for each activity, in their language. Teacher notes and the materials list stay with staff.
Yes, but if two save the same week at the same time, the later save replaces the earlier one.
