Cost consolidation worksheet

What is your district paying for, tool by tool?

List each tool from your invoices. See what it adds up to, which Bloomz plan covers it, and what one contract would save you at published rates.

Bloomz is priced per student, so enrollment is all we need to price it. Then tick each kind of tool you pay for and type its annual cost from your invoices, adding up every vendor in that row.

Optional: the costs that are not on an invoice

Separate tools mean separate rosters, logins, trainings, data-privacy agreements and contact lists to keep in sync. If you know roughly how many staff hours a week that takes, add it here. We show it on its own and keep it out of the savings figure.

We'll check every row against your quote, flag what you could drop at renewal, and send it back in writing. The worksheet goes with this form, so there is nothing to retype.

Bloomz figures use the starting per-student rates published on our pricing page: Essentials $3, Premium $5, Complete $7 and Bloomz 360 $11, plus Bloomz Pay at $1.50 ($2.00 under 300 students), included with 360. Annual minimums apply for smaller districts, and payment-processing fees are separate. Your numbers stay in this browser until you send them. Where the savings come from

Five to ten contracts become one, and the price stops climbing.

One contract instead of five to ten

Most districts consolidate five to ten tools onto Bloomz: one invoice, one renewal date, one vendor to manage.

Your price is locked

No annual increases for the life of your contract. The years-to-compare setting above shows what a yearly vendor increase adds up to.

We beat a written quote by 10%

Bring a competitor's written quote for the same scope and we beat it by 10%, in writing.

Translation is included

Immersive translation in 250+ languages is on every plan, so written translation of notices home stops being a line item.

Free for teachers and families

No per-parent premium subscriptions and no per-teacher seats. Every family gets the full app.

One roster, one privacy review

One SIS sync, one SSO setup, one data-privacy agreement and one staff training, instead of one per tool.

Before your next renewal

Eight ways to cut your edtech bill.

Worth doing whichever vendor you choose.

1
Put every renewal date on one calendar
Auto-renewals with 60 to 90 day notice windows are where unused tools survive. Diary the notice date, not the end date.
2
Pay for who actually logs in
Pull each vendor's usage report. Seats and schools with no active users are the first thing to cut or renegotiate.
3
Find what schools buy on their own
Card and school-level purchases often duplicate a district contract. Ask each school for its list once a year.
4
Count the overlaps
Two messaging tools, three form builders, a website vendor that also sells an app: the rows you ticked twice above are the overlap.
5
Line up end dates
Consolidation is easiest at a single renewal. When you sign or renew, align terms so contracts end together.
6
Ask for a multi-year price lock
A 3 to 5% yearly increase compounds. Get the price for every year of the term in writing.
7
Check cooperative purchasing
A cooperative or state contract can save a full RFP where your policy allows it. Ask your purchasing office.
8
Review subscriptions started with one-time funds
Tools added with one-time money keep billing after the money is gone. Decide which ones earned a place in the general budget.
FAQ

About the worksheet.

Where do the Bloomz numbers come from?
From the starting per-student rates published on our pricing page. The worksheet picks the lowest plan that covers every tool you ticked and multiplies by your enrollment. Annual minimums apply for smaller districts, so a small district's quote can be higher than the worksheet shows. If a competitor gave you a written quote for the same scope, we beat it by 10%.
Is anything I type sent to Bloomz?
No. The worksheet runs in your browser and remembers your numbers on this device only. Nothing reaches us unless you fill in the form to ask for the savings analysis.
What if Bloomz comes out more expensive?
The worksheet says so. It usually means a 360 plan is being compared with only one or two tools, or the starting rate is above what you'd actually be quoted. Send it anyway and we'll show the exact figure.
Why are staff hours kept out of the savings?
Because they are your estimate, not an invoice. We show them on their own so you can decide whether to put them in front of the board.
Can I take this to my board?
Yes. Print it or save it as a PDF from the results panel. The analysis we send back is written for a board packet.

Bring the worksheet to a 30-minute call.

We'll walk through your rows, show where each tool lands in Bloomz, and send a quote with the price locked for your contract.
