Parents plan once, then it's one tap
Each child gets a weekly dismissal plan — car line, bus, walker, or after-school — with any single day overridable, and other authorized adults delegated for pickup ahead of time. On dismissal day the parent taps "Announce I'm Here" to join the line, and the moment their child leaves campus they get a notification naming exactly who picked them up and when. And a privacy line we designed on purpose: announcing is a tap, not a tracker — the parent's location is never sent to Bloomz.
Staff run the whole line from one console
A live, school-wide car-line console shows every child still in the building: search and filter the line, call students to the door as cars arrive, verify the pickup adult by QR code on the car tag, a family access code, or visual ID against the photo on file, and mark them departed. Families without smartphones aren't left out — printable car tags and dashboard placards put them in the same line, and the whole day exports as a dismissal report CSV.

The attendance-safety loop, closed
Dismissal is one end of the day; the other ends got safer too. Parents now report absences straight from the Create menu — dates, reason, note — and the front office confirms or denies from a queue, coding confirmed absences excused automatically. No more 7 a.m. phone line. And digital hall passes are complete: timed passes with destinations, a live school-wide out-of-class view, overstay push alerts to the issuing teacher, and admin controls at district, school, and class levels.
