Thrive IEP · Special Education, the Family Side

The part of an IEP a family actually lives, finally on the platform they already use.

Bloomz doesn't write the plan. It makes sure the family never misses the parts that are theirs.

Thrive IEP is the family-facing layer of special education, sitting alongside your district's existing IEP system of record, Frontline, EdPlan, or SEIS, and never replacing it. It imports the plan summary your case managers already maintain and owns the family experience: meeting notices with real lead time, an interpreter a family can request themselves, consent signed from a phone, and goal progress between meetings, all in the family's language, with access that fails closed.

Everything here is delivered in Spanish, the language you chose.
Visible only to Ana's guardians and her case-management team.

The family's side of special education: the plan summary in plain language, the meeting with an interpreter they can request themselves, the consent they can sign from a phone, and goal progress between meetings — all in their own language.

The plan summary, in the language the family actually reads

Status, case manager, plan type, and the next annual and triennial review dates import from your district's system of record, translated end to end, not a PDF attachment in English with a translated cover note. A child's plan is visible to nobody but that child's guardians and staff holding a special-education role, SpedAdmin or SpedCaseManager, enforced at a single authorization chokepoint on every read and write, and it fails closed on any unexpected error rather than defaulting to access.

Imports from your system of record — Frontline, EdPlan, or SEIS, via SFTP/CSV feed or manual entry, never re-keyed
Delivered in the family's language — status, case manager, plan type, and review dates, not a translated PDF
One authorization chokepoint — every read and write fails closed, teachers get no access by default
Never leaks into general rosters — IEP fields are grep-proofed out of every member/search serializer

A meeting notice with real lead time, and an interpreter on request

Meetings ride your school's real calendar, not a side scheduling system, so a family sees the same invite everywhere and RSVPs once. Notice goes out on the district's own lead-time policy, and a family requests an interpreter themselves, in their language, instead of hoping the school remembered to ask.

Rides the real school calendar — not a parallel scheduling system, one invite, one RSVP
Notice on your district's lead-time policy — every send logged, so timeliness is provable, not assumed
Family-initiated interpreter requests — no waiting for a case manager to think to ask
Every notification carries no English text server-side — the client composes it in the family's own language

The notice reached you 10 days ahead, as your district's policy requires. Every send is logged.

A meeting notice on the district's own lead time, an interpreter a family can request themselves, and consent signed from a phone with a full audit trail, no waiting for a paper form to come home.

Consent signed from a phone, with a delivery record for every document

A guardian reviews and signs consent, for reevaluation, for a service change, right from their phone, with name, timestamp, and IP captured to a full audit trail, revocable and expirable, not a one-way checkbox. Families who need paper still get it: optional print-and-mail delivers the same document by mail, and every send, delivery, and read is logged.

E-signature with a real audit trail — every grant, decline, and revocation timestamped and kept
Revocation & expiry, not just consent — a district can see what's stale, not just what's signed
Optional print-and-mail — for the household that needs paper, the same document, mailed automatically
A delivery record for every document — sent, delivered, and read timestamps, per guardian, per document

Goal progress a family can follow between meetings, not just once a year

Case managers post progress against each IEP goal as it happens, reading fluency, self-regulation, whatever the plan tracks, and a family sees it the moment it's marked shareable, translated, with a simple rating and a plain-language note. No more waiting for the annual review to find out how the year actually went.

Progress per goal, not just per year — posted as it happens, visible the moment it's shared
Guardian visibility is explicit, not automatic — only entries marked shareable ever reach a parent
Plain-language ratings — not introduced, emerging, progressing, mastered, or regressed
Same fails-closed access — goal progress inherits the identical guardian/staff authorization gate
